Wireless LAN announces the availability of the Dycon CS2389 GSM and 2G / 3G / 4G Radio Signal Analyzer which, as a replacement for the D2377, features an updated design with a new (easy to use) color touch screen interface.
The Dycon CS2389 is particularly well suited to identifying the optimal location of a device prior to installation by searching all local base stations (after pressing a button).
This radio signal analyzer displays network availability, radio technology (2G / 3G / 4G), bit error rate (BER), and signal strength.
The CS2389, which can operate in ten languages, is characterized by a “monitor” mode (completely visual), a 20-hour battery life, internal memory with a storage capacity of up to 250 searches and firmware update via USB.
The Battery Saver function puts the radio module in “sleep” mode and dims the screen brightness, while the automatic power-off switches the analyzer off after a certain period of inactivity (standard, 5 minutes). In both cases, the goal is to minimize battery consumption.
In addition, if the user is not sure of the function of an icon on the screen, they can use “self-help”: just touch the icon for 3 seconds to read its description.
Radio Signal Analyzer accessories
This Dycon analyzer is supplied with a protective rubber cover, as well as a stylus, universal charger, USB cable and SIM adapters, which allow any SIM card to be used (after removing the PIN function).
