Icron's USB Ranger® 2224 offers a unique long distance solution for extending USB 2.0 connections at up to 480 Mbps up to 500m over Multimode Fiber. The 2224 provides 4 USB 2.0 ports at the REX unit. A standard Duplex LC interface is used for both the LEX & REX units. This robust USB fiber extender is also certified for demanding industrial environments and is FCC/CE Class B certified, meets EN-61000 16kV ESD immunity and utilizes a rugged metal enclosure.

This LEGACY USB 2.0 Ranger 2224 extender is not recommended for new designs, instead please consider the newer USB 2.0 Ranger 2324 to take advantage of improved functionality, interoperability, and pricing.

Supported platforms include: Windows, MAC OS, Linux UK, European and Australian power versions available. Optional mounting kit also available. Contact your L-com Sales Representative for details.
