The PSW2424-POE is a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Injector/Midspan with integral 24VDC, 24 Watt power supply. It provides 24VDC power for multiple* PoE-equipped devices by "Injecting" DC power through the CAT5 Ethernet cable. It is compatible with Access Points and other equipment supporting the IEEE standard PoE pinout (Pins 4 & 5 Power + / Pins 7 & 8 Power -) and the 24VDC power requirement.*The total number of devices that can be powered will depend on the power requirements of each device used.Compact Wall Mount DesignSince the PSW2424-POE is completely self-contained, a separate power supply and injector is not required. It can be plugged directly into a wall electrical outlet, eliminating the need for additional power cables. The compact size makes it ideal for crowded equipment enclosures. The PSW2424-POE can convert any of L-com's 120VAC industrial enclosures into a 24VDC PoE ready enclosure.Built In Protection CircuitsThe PSW2424-POE feature built in over voltage, over current and short circuit protection.
