Constructed from injection molded ABS resin, it is well suited for a wide range of temperature or harsh environments. The mounting holes are molded into the enclosure permitting it to be wall mounted as well as on a flat surface. The raised lid features a 2-part molded hinge and molded quick release latches with a locking hasp on the lid. The raised lid is fully gasketed. The enclosure cones with an Aluminum mounting plate. This allows the installer to mount the hardware and components easily, taking advantage of the available space. The enclosure material is UV stabilized and comes in neutral light gray color.The Applications... To help ensure trouble-free operation of electronic equipment, the enclosure comes pre-wired with 2 120VAC sockets. The terminal block permits rapid hook up to the locally provided line power. The NBE141006-100 model provides protection to housed equipment while providing built-in power source for ease of installation.Lightning Protection... Surge protection is provided as a standard feature on the internal AC outlets. In addition, the unit can accept up to two optional bulkhead-mount N-Type lightning protectors to protect the coaxial cable runs. The HGLN-CAT5 lightning protector can be used with Power-over-Ethernet applications and custom mounted in the enclosure.
